The availability time of the GPs are from 8 AM to 8 PM on working days and 8 AM 12 PM on Saturday. In other daytimes operates the assistential continuity service (medical guard) that for the town of Leno has the phone number + 390308377156 (located in the town of Ghedi) and for the fraction of Leno call the number: +39 030/8377155 (in Bagnolo Mella). Availability mustn’t be confused with availability for emergency that is granted by 112 service and reserved to emergency/urgency cases.
Home examinations of the GPs of the centre, if requested up to 10 am, will be done in the day whilst the request for examination made after 10 am could be done the day after ( except the calls for urgent health problems that will be answered as soon as possible, eventually cohordinated with the 112 service).
The home examinations must be requested to the doctors, not to the secretary.
They will be done:
- To not transportable patients, too ill to come to the surgey;
- To the patiens in programmed home assistance (ADP) or integrated home assistance (ADI);
- To patients with severe gait impairment.
It is advisable to ask the home examinations only if really necessary as, with the progressive aging of the population the GPs have to care at home more ancient people, not transportable, disabled or with serious health problems.
Remind that the call for emergency/urgency must be done to the phone number 112 that cohordinate the ambulance service for the emergency unit of the nearest hospital.
